Engineering Workshop

 

The Engineering workshop consists of three fun-filled, educational and hands on projects namely Marshmallow Trebuchet, Water Rocket, and Solar Cooker are handpicked through hundreds of choices to fit the targeted niche group. This series of activities will allow the students to uncover or reinforce the many fundamental laws of physics and intrigue them with the endless amount of possibilities in the realm of Engineering through a captivating project based learning style. In the midst of enjoying themselves, students will also have the opportunity to practice their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills as the workshop encourages participants to engage the activities in groups. All in all, the Engineering workshop benefits by helping participants to develop wholly as an individual and equip them with the necessary skillsets for their future.

Business Workshop

 

Activities providing the children insight into different fields of business to be ventured into such as accounting, finance, marketing and management.This equips children with some experience of being a businessman. The children will be equipped with some basic accounting and marketing skills which is essential in the business world. They will be participating in quizzes and a Nasi Lemak Sales competition. Through this activity, the children will gain some experience in accounting, marketing, management and finance.

Information Technology (IT) Workshop

 

An activity for the children to explore on the possible career opportunities and learn more about it through the use of the Internet. This way the children will be able to pick up self-exploratory skills to obtain the information they need on the career choice that they are interested in. The children will then create a powerpoint presentation with the aid of the facilitators that will be guiding them and to ensure that they are able to create a presentation on their career choice successfully. This will help them focus on their ambitions through the added information that they have acquired through searching the Internet. The presentation will help them instil soft skills that is very important to have in our day and age. With this 2 hour activity, the children will benefit greatly.

Creativity Workshop

 

The creativity workshop consists of two fun and creative projects (Project 1: Self-Expression through Object and Project 2: Thank You! Card). This workshop allow the students to explore the element of "self' through art and giving them a channel to unleash their creativity. We also want the children to learn appreciate more hence the project 2 provied them an opportunity to make a card to the person they want to thank. The children will also get a chance to explore different coloring materials and method to create an artwork.
